Now they have to make a way to be together.
Now in Morocco on a training exercise, Kye's path crosses with Wyatt, who is now no longer a Navy Seal and is working for his family's shipping company. Wyatt is determined to get back what he lost, but as he starts to uncover more and more about who Kye really is, Wyatt realizes that he never really knew Kye.
Misunderstandings of both the past and the present, along with the help of two people determined to keep them apart, threaten to sever any tie between the two star-crossed lovers. Kye and Wyatt must FIND A WAY to get over the past to make a life together, but is their love enough? Or will they have to MAKE THEIR WAY on their own?
The following story contains violence, sexual situations, and strong language. It is intended for a mature audience.
My Thoughts: If I could describe this book in one word it would be... REFRESHING. Kye is the main character in this book and let me tell you.. SHE IS A BADASS. Kye is a kick ass female DEA agent that has had her fair share of troubles and tribulations in her life. She lost her best friend, but gained a family...and in the midst of returning to work she is reunited with Wyatt, the guy who broke her heart many years before. I'm all for the strong, alpha male in books but it was a good change of pace to read a book where the female was STRONG and did not give into the male within the first 5 pages. E.C. Kelley does a great job of making you feel like you are in the book. I got lost in this book and finished it on the way home from spring break vacation.
